The Adopt-a-Dorm program was developed to further build community for incoming Seaver College students living on campus, while simultaneously supporting the efforts of Housing and Residence Life and those'" the Resident Advisors (RA's) and Spiritual Life Advisors (SLA's)'" who pour so tirelessly into our students' lives.
As an' adoptive parent' you have a unique opportunity to support the staff group assigned to your student's residence hall in creating a warm, welcoming and nurturing' family' dynamic for all residents involved'
Donate'" to enhance your student's residence hall!
Provide additional funds* to enhance the Housing and Res. Life budget. These critical funds allow staff the ability to provide extra programming throughout the year; for example a pizza party or overnight camping trip to build community among the residents, or to address any unexpected student needs as they arise; for example, taking a lonely student to yogurt or coffee, etc.
* Gifts up to $1,000 per family/per year toward the individual residence hall funds welcome, any and all gifts above $1,000 will be applied to the Adopt-a-Dorm Endowment fund!
